A non-video update for a change: I tweaked the site's look a bit and updated the fake FAQ and the Links pages.

DJH recently re-started Gaming Journals and I try to post my progress in whatever game I'm playing at the moment there, so reading that might give a hint as to what video I'll be uploading next.

March 29th, 2009

Added a replay of Harmful Park's Score Attack, with a score of 1,104,700.

March 22nd, 2009

Cutting the dry season with a no-miss replay of Game Boy's Gradius on Hard difficulty.

September 17th, 2008

Finally, a new addition: ALL Clear of Silpheed: The Lost Planet for PS2. Comes in two versions, one with all the CGI movies included and one without.

June 16th, 2008

Added my Star Soldier (PS2) 2-minute mode replay.

Huzzah! Turns out the reason I couldn't record PS1 games in colour was because I'm stupid. All it took was manually changing the type of colour encoding in VirtualDub and they capture just fine. This opens up many possibilities for future superplays.

Just to test it out I played through and captured PS1's Gaia Seed, since I noticed there's no video footage of the game online at all. So I thought I'd fix that. But instead of hosting it here I've uploaded the whole playthrough to my YouTube channel so it can be viewed online easier. I did this because the game has limited superplay appeal, since it's a very, very easy game. I cranked the difficulty up to Hard and I still no-missed it without problems. I'll still be hosting proper MP4-videos of the superplays I think are more interesting.

But while playing Gaia Seed I tried some stuff out and I discovered there are several endings. Two I've seen with my own eyes, and since both seem like bad endings I'm guessing there's at least one more. And the boss that you have to fight to get the second ending is pretty hard, actually. If and when I get the good ending I might post that here. We'll see how that goes.

Also, one last thing to mention: about a month ago I took part in this small, local gaming all-night party. Much fun was had, lots of gaming happened and there were quite a few tournaments held. I took part in all of them and actually won three: Twinkle Star Sprites: La Petite Princess, SingStar Pong (insanely fun, I tell you) and Arcana Heart. The latter I'm guessing was because nobody had ever actually played the game before. The tournaments weren't that big, they had only 16 participants each (Arcana Heart might've had less), but I'm really proud of this little achievement nonetheless.

March 20th, 2008

Added no-miss clear of Famicom's Hector '87 on Hard difficulty.

December 27th, 2007

Well, I didn't guess I was going to be so productive, but only a day later I've added no-miss first loop clear of W-Ring: The Double Rings for PC Engine.

December 26th, 2007

Added no-miss first loop clear of Gradius II: Gofer no Yabou for PC Engine.

I've also re-uploaded the previous Gradius and Section Z vids. The old ones had some problems (sound not playing with some video players, audio and video weren't quite in sync) because I was dumb. That should be all fixed now.

December 5th, 2007

Added no-miss first loop clears of Gradius for both Famicom and PC Engine.

I felt like overhauling the website, so here's the new version. Hopefully I'll manage some new content soon.
